📋Quick Overview
India has a vast network of agricultural research and financial institutions. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for agricultural research and education in India. Under ICAR, there are numerous research institutes (IARI, NDRI, CPCRI, CICR etc.) for specific crops and livestock. For agricultural finance, NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) is the apex institution. FCI handles food grain procurement and distribution.
